The TTL-4 series multifunctional iron analyzer is mainly used for rapid quantitative analysis of physical and chemical indicators and ferromagnetic wear particles in oil. Physical and chemical index measurement refers to measuring indicators such as water content, micro water content, quality, particle size, viscosity, etc. in oil; PQ index of ferromagnetic abrasive particles in oil samples for wear particle measurement. The PQ index is a dimensionless quantitative number that has a good linear relationship with the content and size of ferromagnetic abrasive particles in the sample.
Due to the sensitivity of PQ index to large-sized ferromagnetic abrasive particles, it is often used in conjunction with elemental analysis (spectroscopy) to improve fault detection rate. Therefore, the multifunctional iron meter plays an irreplaceable role in oil detection.
product overview
The multifunctional iron meter is operated through a touch screen, and various operation options are displayed on the screen through a form based interface. Users can select the appropriate detection method and name the measurement data through detailed settings, and can also quickly detect oil through default settings. During measurement, the display screen will show the detection results in real-time.
The instrument is equipped with a dedicated oil sample box, and during testing, the oil to be tested needs to be collected into the oil sample box for testing. This instrument has already provided users with a 5ml dedicated oil sample box and a matching conversion ring. During the oil sampling process, if the height of the oil sample exceeds the "critical scale", the PQ index measurement result is independent of the total amount of oil sample in the oil sample bottle. The critical height is 8mm. Please ensure that the depth of the oil sample exceeds 8mm during measurement. If there are large ferromagnetic abrasive particles in the oil sample, these particles will gradually precipitate under the action of gravity and magnetic force, and the PQ index measurement result will gradually increase. This phenomenon can be used to determine the presence or absence of large-sized ferromagnetic abrasive particles.
The significance of PQ index
PQ testing is not used to measure the absolute content of ferromagnetic abrasive particles in oil samples, but to monitor the trend of changes in the content of ferromagnetic abrasive particles in oil samples. The PQ index must be relatively changed by more than 10% to be effective. The PQ index of empty bottles and new oil is often non-zero, which is a normal phenomenon and does not affect trend analysis. As long as the readings of the same type of empty bottle or new oil are consistent, it is sufficient.
Physical and chemical indicators
By sampling the lubricating oil in use and comparing it with the new oil used, it is convenient, fast, and stable to measure parameters such as water content, micro water content, quality, particle size, viscosity, etc. of the lubricating oil. Realize scientific oil replacement according to quality with low-cost and simple methods, extend the use time of lubricating oil, detect equipment failures early, and avoid significant losses.
